Lokenath Divine Life Mission has served hundreds of rural villages and more than 60 urban slums in West Bengal and Assam. While LDLM’s primary focus is on women and children, it is always identifying additional ways to address the needs of underserved populations.

Lokenath Divine Life Mission (LDLM) was founded in 1985 in India by Baba Shuddhaanandaa Brahmachari. LDLM serves women, children and families in the rural villages and slums of West Bengal, India, with sustainable development programs utilizing education, self-help, and micro credit.
LDLM does not believe in traditional charity. Baba prefers to support people in liberating themselves rather than reinforce their sense of powerlessness. Therefore all contributions are used to support the Mission’s programs rather than as direct aid to individuals.
