No "Junk Foods" - No "Junk News"!

Many of us do our daily meditation, prayer, and other spiritual practices. We also might do daily stretching, yoga and exercises and eat healthy foods, which means no "junk foods." So why do we consume so much "junk news?" Junk news is so much worse than junk food because it subtly contaminates our mind, creating so many negative thoughts and vibrations within us.

We need to be very careful about the news feed either through social network or news channels. We forget we don't only eat through our mouth but through our eyes and ears. Junk food = junk body, junk news feed = junk mind. If we eat the news through our eyes and ears, we are mostly ingesting the worst toxins into our mind and polluting our body. Let us never forget—every poison collected through our senses is dumped in our mind and we feel miserable.

We already are battling with our own issues of life; negative emotions are already occupying a lot of our mind space. Furthermore, they reflect in our strong political opinions that often create so many ripples of further negativity first in our family and next in the world. The day we realize that junk news is even worse than junk food and impure water, we will stop ingesting negative vibrations from the news and stop spreading negative vibrations through our words. As we input so is the output.

Stop Your Addiction to Junk News Now!

Don't ingest any more negative vibrations from the junk news. We are radiant children of light and love and that is the energy that we should be gathering and sharing with the world. Life is short and fleeting; read good inspirational and motivational books and meet positive wise people or read their life stories. That will help keep us on right track of life.

It is also a good practice refraining from judgmental comments. Contrary to what we might believe, our opinion does not always have value. Our words are not always needed. It is also equally important not to participate in gossiping or endlessly rehashing negative news or conversations. These do not add value to our life but rather drain our good energies. Choose what to say, how to say it, how much to say, and what to listen to and what to take from it. Life is a learning process! Be a good student of the universe and you will thrive! And remember, laughter is the best news of all!!
